Christine Lucille Benson a homemaker of Eros, LA died February 6, 2012. Funeral service will be 2:00 Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Eros under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 and 12:00 to 1:30 P.M on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the church. Interment will follow services at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Eros under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents V.A. and Susie Hodnett

She is survived by husband of 49 years Chuck Benson of Eros, LA; two sons, Warren Benson and wife Trisha of West Monroe, LA; Bobby Moffett and wife Peggy of Eros, LA; two daughters, Susan Simons and husband Chris of Enterprise, AL; Annette Powell and husband Keith of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Christopher Hinton, Matthew Hinton, Christine Hinton, Zachary Benson, Joel Benson, Nichole Powell, Alison Ezell, Robert Moffett, Neal Moffett; Great-grandchildren, Gavin Hinton, Emma Hinton.
